Would love your feedback on the images and also if any one of you could tell me a way I can find out which flowers are these?

    Lovely flowers!!
Since the pics are getting rotated with every click, I think the names as per their colours are… (based on Botany knowledge acquired long long ago)
    1. The 2 purple flowers are Water Lily
    2. The pink one is China Rose
    3. The Yellow with 3 stamens is Porcupine Flower
    4. The orange group of flowers is Ixora red
    5. Yellow one is Golden Trumpet Vine

Are my guesses correct?? Let me know!
    Cheers :)

  4. Reema says:

the big yellow one is from Allamanda cathartica L., a vine belonging to the family of Apocynaceae. It is the cultivar ‘Hendersonii’ with brownish red markings in the throat.
    the bunch one is Ixora
the pink one is china rose, a type of Hibiscus.

    The lotus/water lilies are brilliant.
Loved the shot from the top where the golden stamens are adding to the royal glory of the purple.

  9. I came across your blog through Preeti’s blog. Good snaps you have put up… What model of camera do you have? In which mode did u shoot the pics? Did u try using Macro mode? It will give you better results. I have some snaps of flowers here, do have a look when you can spare some time and let me know your thoughts…
