So people time for results of the quiz on Hindi Poetry.
I had great time creating this quiz, though I always knew that I would receive lower response because not entire readership of this blog is in Hindi Poetry. But the response for this quiz has really left me saddened especially given the fact this was not a difficult quiz, there can be two reasons either the penetrations of Hindi poetry have gone to a level which is pathetically low or the readership of this blog is very very seriously skewed towards non Hindi speaking population. I just hope the reason is the later. Getting back to the results of the quiz-
1-These are the lines from the famous poem titles Nari by Sumitra Nandan Pant.
2- These are the lines from Mahadevi Verma’s poem Jo Tum Aa Jaate Ek Baar. One of the early Hindi writers to portray Indian women in an unparalleled way.
3- This is a poem by Makhan Lal Chaturvedi and a distinct similarity between him and Mahatma Gandhi is that their death anniversary falls on January 30th. (However, I have awarded the correct answer on identifying the poet and any other similarity as well)
4-Ramdhari Singh Dinkar, whose works around Mahabharata specially RashmiRathi have been treated with great respect in Hindi Poetry.
5- Prathviraj Raso by Chand Bardai.
6- Ram Prasad Bismil
7- Ring Finger = Anamika, 1969 Rajesh Khanna Sharmila Tagore= Aradhna both of them are creation of Suryakant Tripathi Nirala
